That is a sweet bike. Nice gift, Dad.

Unklemoose, are you interested in adopting a son? Boy, she is lucky. The only thing I had to ride at her age, was a Honda Trail 90.

Hey Splat, the TTR125 is a pretty decent bike. I raced my sister's TTR125 in the last Little Polecat Enduro out here. That little 8hp bike passed up dozen or so adult bikes. I was surprised, and learned an interesting lesson that day.

It is all relative. A TTR125 is great compared to bikes of the 80's, but when you compare it to the current selection, there are far better choices.

The CRF250X is a good example of a far better choice.

Too bad the manufacturers don't make a mini thumper with suspension equal to the current 85 cc bikes.

for a young girl who's been riding a ttr125? umm. hahahahaha. for racing, i'd go with a kx100. it's only 100 lbs lighter than a crf-x. my girlfriend is stoked with the massive power increase and light-years better suspension than the ttr too.

i may swing by moonrocks. or i may just hit the track at fernley. i'll be in reno this weekend to ski a little and to race the mrann race at nightengale on sunday. at least it's warmer there than at my house.

That was my original suggestion before he bought the CRF.

You have to admit, the CRF will have a much more trail friendly powerband. And he suspension will already be pretty close to what she wants for the desert and trail riding.
