nice pics and write up, liked the action shots over the log!!

140km long sand island, perfect for a ride. Beautiful place, I remember doing 130kmh+ up the beach in a V8 4wd,full esky and tunes going, 20 + years ago, great fun , lots of drinking , and as some have commented , not to much regulation over there years ago.

Was lots of accidents and carnage from what I remember , I imagine it would all be well regulated now. Eli creek and the inland lake were an eye opener , inland streams and the bush was really something.

Would love to do it on a bike sometime.

How much air is in those tires? Your Husaberg looks like it is "floating" as required on sand, so proper low pressures there. I bet the Yam had 20 PSI or so to be that bad. Do the bikes need to be road legal for that area? Thanks, Leon
