Gunnisnon VS Moab Terrain

from some of the pics of gunnison it looks like its much more open than moab.
i am assuming that pics dont represent all of the riding areas.

fritz or anyone else who might know....is there going to be riding like the loop we took with fryguy and friends on the last day at fr2?

i am just trying to get a feel for what to expect.
thanks

Moab and Gunnison are polar opposites.

Moab is a lot of sand and slick rock....Gunni is grassy, rocks, roots, singletrack, trees (not at Hartman lol) and cool in the summer. There really isn't a common denominator.

Thomas

thanks for the info.
at moab, trials tires really worked great....if you have any experience with them,,do you think they will work at gunnison also?
are there trails that a berg 650 gets to open up?
i am thinking of bringing 2 bikes, 650 berg and 300 gasgas.
thanks

Hey TUTS
Alot of people run trials tires, I don't because I like to run down the open roads 90+ mph and a trials tire will self destruct! The best tires i have found are Bridgestone's. 401 402 403 or 404 with moose HD tube's with 13 psi ft and rear. There is not alot of terrain like Moab here.it's all high altitude. 8000 will be the lowest you will see at the campground.
Thanks
Fritz
