Count me in, too. I'll ride some A and some B trail. Like Tim, I also have a cabin in Pitkin and can assist as needed.

As it stands right now, the rally point will be at the Tall Texan Resort. That could change, but that's where it stands as of right now.

I am hoping that by the end of next month we will have it all worked out as to what each days rides will look like, where to, how far, etc....

Can someone describe what most of the riding will be like or has it been done already in another thread. I took my 650 up a mountain the other night and was not a happy camper on hard packed ground and solid rock. First time I ever really felt uncomfortable on that beast (especially with cliffs off the side.)

What seems to be the problem?

Too much power, too loose, too much wheel spin, any big rocks and it's boucing all over the place and when there's not a lot of space then thats not so healthy. I believe I would have gotten to the top a lot faster on my KDX. I am wondering if it's the right bike for mountain rides.

1) Get your suspension sorted. It will stop the bouncing about and help put the power to the ground.
2) What tires and air pressure do you run?
3) Throttle control and short shift

Don't make me show up now, I know the trails and have had a mailbox out of Gunny.

If you are comeing from sea level it will kick your ass.

Let some of air out of your tires and get a map.

There are alot of good trails south of Gunny where you can class up or get a line of order .

That was the map under my clutch inspection cover.

Their are thunderstorms, so wear/bring a jacket.

Tell the hotel in CB what you are doing or that you have family there; they might give you a discount.

Younger/stoner types might want to try the Oh Be Joyfull camp ground north.

Cement creek has camping for those that are on it.

Everyone else, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

Again; there are alot of trails. Get the map.
