I Ride: 2006 FE450e
Husaberg newbie from AUS looking for parts

Hello everyone. Getting back into dirt riding always had 2 strokes in the past but thought I would try a 4 stroke found this cheap enough 2006 fe450e.
The bike rides well it just has the water pump shaft seal known issue but previous owners have never rebuilt the top or bottom of the engine and it has 130hrs I wouldn't mind pulling the bike apart and inspecting for wear and damage although gasket and bearing kits are hard to find.
I Have been looking for engine parts online and cant really seam to find much in the way of getting aftermarket engine parts only genuine through powersport central or moto tech at a very inflated cost obviously because its euro and small manufacturer that no longer operating.

Any help would be appreciated Husaberg newbie from AUS looking for parts-20201227_180928.jpg

Try my web shop fella. link beneath this message.

I wouldn't bother with the rebuild. not enough hours.

common mods on the 2006 are rare and few.

Modify your auto decomp spring or buy a modified one.
starter repair kit for stopping the starter gears slipping
iridium plug
jetting kit

they upgraded the clutch drum once more to get rid of a sqwuawk noise some were getting.

that's about it.

get on it and ride

Ben here from Brisbane, i recently bought a 06 Fe450 myself, best dirt/road bike ive ridden, love the Berg. Theres a place down in Orange that seems to have plenty of parts ile find the name and repost , am pretty sure ive read post in these forums referring to the place, other than that i havent found much here in Aus. If you find any places let me know mate. Taffy has plenty on offer at his shop also, am thinking of buying a voltage regulator from him myself.
