Hi Harbfarm,

I do all the maintenance work myself. But I just had my 550 rebuilt by a guy named Dave Hopkins in Woodinville area. I don't know offhand what shop may work on the bike, or really have any specific expertise here locally in the Seattle or Eastside area. There is a guy in Portland - look up Boss Offroad.
Thanks from Harbfarm

Do you have a phone or email for Mr. Hopkins? Woodinville is very convenient and would save freight to Portland BOSS.

Mr. Hopkins

Yes, if you have a number for Mr. Hopkins that would be great.

Thank you.

Here is a document that Dave Hopkins authored. It has lots of good info but also contains his contact info. I don't know how active he is in rebuilding motorcycle engines anymore. He may have done it as a side job. I seem to recall that his primary work is as a realtor. Very knowledgeable, though, and a good option if he's still in the game.
