Proud new Husaberg owner

Hi all.

Well, I actually bought my Husaberg back in Oct last year and have posted but just realized I hadn't introduce myself.

I've had all kinds of MX bikes throughout the years however I've been wanting to get more into trail riding and wanted to get something street legal. So, started my search for dual sport. Quickly I found out that most dual sports are not high performance machines, weighing 50% more and have 50% less power than my MX bikes. I decided to find a MX bike that had been made street legal. I found a nice CRF450R in MI, bought it however my home state, WI, wouldn't transfer the title because they only title motorcycles cycle that were originally manufactured for street use. So, my search continued. I found a WI titled CR500 and jumped at the opportunity. The CR500 is so much fun in the dirt however it just was uncomfortable for longer road trips. Anything under an hour was fine but after that the vibration and narrow seat got to me. I was going to go through the bike and make it more for my needs however a customer of mine mentioned the FE570. I totally dismissed it because I thought it was another +300 lbs, under powered dual sport but then I looked into them. And WOW. I thought it was the greatest dual sport! 250ish lbs, near 60hp, electric start, Brembo brakes, mass centralized 70 degree motor.

I've spent all winter accumulating parts for it and now ready to start my build.

So far, I have a 70 degree fuel tank, STM slipper clutch, Seat Concepts seat and a Britannia Composites Lynx fairing.

I'm not sure about the Lynx fairing though because it's much larger and heavier than I anticipated. I'd like to get some ideas for an adjustable or easily removable windshield. I'm also looking for directions on installing the STM slipper clutch.
