Another Newbie from Queensland -Australia

G'day all, New member from OZ saying hello.
Next week I take delivery of my first berg.
A very well maintained 2000 FE600E
Shocks and starter have been rebuit and the mechanic says it's in excellent condition.

Have been lurking for a few days, reading up on this model and hoping the claims of most reliable fe600 are true.
Traded my bulletproof (if little sedate) 05 drz400 for an older lighter shade of blue
Look forward to sharing my experiences and hopefully not too many dramas.
I do mostly day rides on single track, firetrails etc. and occasionally the odd weekend away covering a few kilometers. road and trail. I have read this is not the best tourer but couldnt resist.
My first mod will be to look for a bigger main tank or bum tank if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Merry Christmas and happy new year

Welcome mate and good purchase, I'm out Alex hills way.
We will have to catch up for a ride if this rain ever stops.

Stradbroke Is. is good at the moment, the sand is hard packed and good fun.
