Considering buying a 2013 fe350, what do I need to know?

I have been eyeing local husky, ktm, and husaberg 350's for sale. I found a deal for a 2013 fe350 with 55hours on it. I'm concerned that husaberg no longer exists. How hard will it be to get parts? What else do I need to be concerned about with this bike? I've read the forks aren't great on them and that the airbox filter has some issues with its retention mechanism. Any other concerns? Is it possible to find a shop manual for this bike? Is the engine maintenance the same as the equivalent ktm?

Parts no ..that bike is the same as the ktm ...manual if it's for me I would even look in the ktm 350 ...for what I have heard fork are better than ktm...what kind of use you thinking of doing? Racing amateur/ junior ...enduro ...mix motocross ....I never liked the stock and air(not your case) fork I always get them set up by K-Tech Suspension

Check engine status!!!!! I bought a full rebuild bike and it came out to be opposite !!!

Ps this is what they say about airbox
Air box

There are two good arguments for the new air box: optimum protection from dirt and an adequate air supply to the engine. A separate intake snorkel has been developed for each displacement to optimise airflow, thereby ensuring maximum engine performance. The generously sized TWIN AIR filter is replaced conveniently in a matter of seconds via the air box side cover and with no tools at all, of course.

If the bike is sound and you deem it good enough when it comes to wear and tear buy it. It's a very good bike. It is a Husaberg, but think KTM. It's more of a Husaberg tweaked KTM, so spare parts will not be a problem.
I heard the 4CS forks got some upgrades and I know some "fix" them. I think they bottom out quite abrupt due to a short and steep cone, and that is what people fix so they gradually get stiffer. But this is at the very extreme end, just before they truly bottom out. You could have a look at Slavens on youtube to learn more about them. Still very good forks.

hi mate!
I bought two 350s in 2014, both with 80 hours.. I'm using them in my enduro tour little business - hard and extreme tracks, different riders..
Now, they are about 300 hours - nothing to do with engine and some typical maintenace done. all parts are 100% KTM, plastics you can by for 50euros 100% husky compatibile till my2017..
NO problem, best bike ever... Just change oil every 15 hours
