2005 fs650e: buy it or Not ?

Hello People of the Berg!(ADMIN, if this thread is in The wrong place, could you move it? Thanks)

I have finally Got The opportunity to buy a used fs650e!

It is a bike from 2005 in good condition according to The owner. Is an easy starter both Electric and kick and hot and cold. He has a logbook with all The maintenance done to it, and shop manual.

It has had regular Oil and filter change at about 10h intervals. Valve adjustment at about 30h and when ever The engine was getting a bigger service.

At 160,8h there was a bearing and gasket change throughout The engine, Aswell as some kind of balance weight, maybe something to do with The crank?

At 191,9h It had a new piston and camchain along with a gasket set and a regular Oil and filter service.

At 284,9h it had Oil and filter change, new air filter and valve adjustment.

The bike is at a total of 287,3h.

Now, is there Anything i should look out for in The near future, like a big upcomming build (ekstra money out of My pocket) or other quirks that it might have at this point in its life?

His asking Price is 2650€. This includes a complete set of black plastics with tank and seat. And a box of "goodies" like ekstra brake pads, some sprockets, wheel bearings and other stuff.

Is this a fair Price for this particular bike?

If you actually want a berg in good condition its pretty hard to find one especially with low ks. Its going to cost you money no matter how well you look after it. In my opinion you buy a berg because you love them i have a 2007 550 works replica and i love it like its my child and just bought a 2005 fs 650. They are a bike you buy because you appreciate there heritage and the feeling they give you dont buy it if you want to go touring or an everyday ride where you leave it unmaintaned for 5000ks. Get a dr instead they dont cost you shit but compared a berg its as boring as hell. My suggestion is.....are you abit of an eccentric man? If so buy the berg if you like to be boring and sensible dont buy it.
