Timing chain tensioner -09

Is there anyone but me who has trouble with the hydraulic timing chain tensioner? It worked fine for a couple of hours but then it started to rattle at idle and low revs with the engine warmed up.Replaced it with a new tensioner but after only a couple of hours it´s the same story again. This is what I´m talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ckqUpwB ... re=related
An aftermarket tensioner is available from Dirttricks http://www.dirttricks.com/timing_chain_tensioner.htm but is this the solution or a waste of money? The bike is a -09 450 with 11 hours on the clock.

Id say take it to husaberg and tell em to get it sorted mate, fitting aftermarket parts on something so new is a no-no, warrenty issues etcetc

Right.By fitting that Dirttricks replacement, you break the warranty terms and conditions.Go th the dealer and tell them! It's also free for you.

I will continue with the oem tensioner and hoping that no.3 will hold up better.Changing tensioner twice as often as oil is not something I will keep on doing And I´ve got them as warranty claims(so far)...

I put a Dirt Tricks tensioner on my 530 and it solved the problem. I would be suprised if the two motors were not very similar. KTM has not fixed the problem from last year. So what makes you think that Husaberg/KTM will fix it? Get the Dirt Tricks. The down side to this is a messed up motor.
