Rattle/Rumble From Clutch Side

Ok Since We Got The FCR Fitted To The 400 2 Weeks Ago The Bikes Now Making Funny Noises On The Clutch Side I Think.
We've Only Ridden The Bike 2 Laps Round A Field A Couple Of Times Since Fitting The Carb.
The Sounds Go/Quieten Down With Clutch Pulled In.
My Guess Is The Gearbox Is Making these Noises
Have Any Of You Come Across This Type Of Problem Before?
What Bearings Usually Give This Symptom If Worn?

When my 00 501 transmission main shaft bearing (clutch end of the shaft) went out it started doing that and then started making a loud whining sound like Worrrrrrrrr. The noise was from the miss match of the primary and secondary gears as the bearing ball retainer started to fail, allowing the main shaft to deflect.

Look in my Gallery for the damaged bearing.

Regards,

Joe
