So is it pretty much left at the valves now?
What do you mean bowl drain is dumping fuel?
While Kicking you say you are getting spark but no fire. Is the plug WET? if the bowl is draining is the float stuck and besides draining out the overflow are you flooding the motor?
What color is your spark?
sorry I am not trying to treat you like a DS but I got to ask the basics

I have heard of the ignitions being sort of wishy washy intermitant.
If ya got good spark, moist plug (not dripping) then you gott go after the valves
Most common is for them to tighten up .

Help the guy here boys is the 04 got the SEM? Im not familar and cant remember. That is a stator that can give you fits working sometimes , just barely and others not at all.

keep plugging away and well keep sending you down different paths until you fix it or sell it

yeah sorry I was dead in the middle of taking it apart when I wrote that so it was kind of lack luster when it came to details .. yeah the plug was wet with fuel... I didn't get to see the spark though cause I was "kicking" and my friend was watching the spark... We took the whole carb apart and the float was working fine and was adjusted according to the manual. But yeah it was flooding the bike after kicking so much without starting even though we had spark...

But just as you suggested it seems to be the valves, there was a broken valve spring, the front right spring...

So time to order some parts.. While I'm in the motor are there any good parts that would be good to upgrade?

am i right in guessing that this is a lingering '03 model? that you have the SEM gnition and the dell orto carb fitted?

the dell orto i well known for sticking open and flooding the engine. once it has done that you'll never get it started. when it did that to me i just tapped the bowl with a ratchet and it stopped.

Okay Here are some updated pictures. I finally got my Cam Chain Breaking tool and it broke but I still got it apart...

The Piston:

The Valves:

The Broken Spring:

My Broken and Stuck Cam Chain Tool:

The Bike :

So everything looks to be alright, little sooty from the open exhaust valve. But the valve didn't kiss the piston so that's good.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW there 'lil fella!!!!!!!!

you have spoken tOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo soon!

your right hand inlet has been badly hitting your piston, your left hand inlet has been doing i9t as well!

aaaannnnndddddd i think your exhaust valves may have been as well. get us another few photos of the valve pockets in your piston please. at least 3.

put your plug back in the head and tighten, lay the head horizontal and fill the combustioon chamber with paraffin (kerosene to you!) and then using a torch look in all four ports for the paraffin gradually wetting the port. whichever port is wet has a bent valve.

you must now change both inlet springs 100% certain, you may ahve to change the exhaust valves but i would trust the springs PERSONALLY. others will tell you that they may break next. you need a new camchain and you must pay particular attention to how much camchain tensioner you have left? was it all used up? because IMHO your cam timing has been fluttering.
