Kick Starter Stuck

I have a 2007 550 and I had to replace the clutch cover gasket. After doing so my kick starter will no longer move. The bike will still start and run fine with the electric start but the kick starter will not move at all. Can anyone let me know what is going on here and how to fix this? Like i said it still runs but I would like to have the option of kick starting it. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

There is a trick to the kick starter when you put the side cover on, you need to make sure it's in the proper location, with the pressure on the spring. It's one of those, if you hold your month in the right direction it will stay in place as you put the cover on. You will hear it kick out, when it does start again.

Search kick starter installation on here I am sure there is a thread on this topic.
