I am not exactly sure what you mean by: Rocker Bearing: Now knowing one was replaced (peened in error) shouldn't the issue w/ remainder be simply the outside diameter of the new replacement bearing (presuming updated needed size within same)?

The outside diameter of the bearing is the same only the inner needle bearing pin size was changed in 03. These are actually pretty easy to replace. I would just stick with the original size and replace every 40-50 hours of use.
That's good to hear. The pin size I was confusing with needle size as the changes within the bearings, my error. When installing the peened area is on the bearing itself which makes sense.

If I recall he ended up with 4 or 5 pins, bone regrowth was problematic, had to use some bone growth stimulus type machine to aid in recovery. The bike was his birthday present. After breaking his ankle he wanted nothing to do with it. The final bill was $40k. I bought him a quad instead (Predator 500) and he's since forgiven me in part.

Taffy
I'll contact you for part options. Do you also carry the dual valve spring kits?

Year and a half ago, 35. I keep teasing him that he broke his ankle because he was kicking it over like a little girl.

That was good for a hard laugh. I used to use the same tease on friends back in the Maico 400/450/490/501 days. "Toss the tampon, it'll fire right up!"
