Securing the seat

Is there a trick to securing the front of the seat better? 2010 FX450....darn thing popped out half way through my first lap yesterday and cost me a race

I Ride: Two FE570 -12
Make sure it's really there in the front by using brute force and an angle before you slam down the back with your fist.

I Ride: FX450 - sold, '08 KTM 690SMR, '12 KTM250SXF (SOLD) 2016 Husky FC250 new race bike!
You have to make sure you have the front AND the mid-point slides/posts in place.
It's easy to miss the middle ones and that could easily let the seat pop off under hard use.
