Ha ha that's right jon, shiny bits. I just looked at my avatar and had a bit of a laugh. The 102mm bore will take it to 590cc ?

So far I have secured the cylinder and gaskets, a pro-x rod kit, mains and all the small gaskets and seals, I'll go to a bearing supply for gearbox bearings but the NJ 205 ECP counter shaft bearing is proving hard to nail down.

Should be a good thing. Do you have your engine apart at the moment ? I'm looking for the dimensions of the wrist pin.

Just an update the head is a write off as well over $1000 AUD to repair it without valves and springs, and a chance that the amount of weld going into it will soften the material.

Now I'm looking for a head similar to;

Husaberg FE 390, 450, 570 2009-2012
Husaberg FE 450, 501 2012 - 2014
KTM 450 EXC 08-13
KTM 500 EXC 12-13
KTM 530 EXC 08-11.

If anyone has any leads on something please let me know.
