I Ride: 99 FC600, 95 FC501, 94 FE501
I could not detect any wear on the needle or atomizer by eye, but I will likely replace them just to make sure. If I remember correctly, it has a K23 needle and 260FN atomizer.

I have a couple of the original magazine tests for the 94 501's, and both tests rave about there being no bog on these bikes. However, researching this site, it seems to be rather common.

Mine has That carb too . The flatside and o have no bog . It's a 400
