You should have it welded and retempered. If your going to use the old crank. Your Way I think will not last very long at All! Hope I'm wrong. But either way start looking for a new crank 1/2. Please let Us know how long it last. Not rubbing it in I been wrong before just good info. to have.......

New crank!


Was really lucky and found a NOS crank on eBay, just got it today Really looking forward to start putting it back together as soon as I can afford the rest of the parts I need
