Oil leaking around gear shift lever?

I have a 2004 FE 450 that appears to be leaking oil from the gear shift lever, it also weeps a little bit from the kick start. I have a new seal for the kick start just have not got time to change it yet. Is the gear shift seal an easy seal to replace, or do i need to split the case? Thank you.

you need the cover off for the kickstart oil seal and you shouldn't bother using a kickstart seal but use an O ring wedged in.
