Its a bit of a beast in the trails. I have a fairly tall gear ratio, so i need to use the clutch a lot more in 1st gear. I think the auto clutch would be so nice in the tight trails i seem to always find.

I need to get out for a ride, works been so busy i haven't been ridding much :/

I have a 2002 FE650 with a Revloc clutch. I noticed it slipping in 6th gear the most when I crack the throttle at 50MPH. The motor jumps about 1500 RPM as the bike accelerates to catch up with the motor. If I downshift to 4th and crack the throttle at higher RPMs I don't notice the slipping much but of course I have to shift quickly. I put a new clutch pack in it last night and still have the same acceleration results. I do most of my riding on the trails so I guess I will just live with it. My problem is being in too high a gear in the tight stuff and overheating my engine due to the clutch having to slip so much. I need to get an overflow bottle to capture the coolant and be more cognizant of what gear I am in.

have you no adjustment on it? it can't take the loading obviously but you need to try and adjust it and sort it out? with the rekluse everything was adjustable, the trouble was, everything needed adjusting!

the auto clutch will do it for you
clutch hub just too small in diameter to hold a 650.

I have a rekluse Z start pro on my FE 650 and must say it has been working flawless the last 6 years.. Its very nice when snowbiking and for trails I think it works great.
I notice that it could slip then full throttle in 6 th gear but I can live with that..
