Goog idea Spanner , with 80 mm stroke you dealing with high torque and all the issues that comes with

especialy cylinder head gasket issues , the ducati's one are not made for high torque per cylinder , i have burned 2 in 2 weeks !!!!

.
Thanks from spanner

Hmm, that doesnt sound right, what ducati gasket is that you are using?
1198 one is good at 70nm per cylinder, not prone to blow at all.

I am using the genuine 1198 gasket but it doesnt matter , as you said , the gasket is good at 70 nm of torque , my engine is giving +/- 100 nm, thats why it blows

i have had these issues with my 100 hp Ktm 693 engines , and i solve the problem using metal ring gasket , so , I know what to do

100nm and 100hp renders totally implausible VE from 693cc.

I took it as he was talking about two separate engines Making 100nm with one and 100hp with the other heheh

everything is possible down here !! lol , as far as you work pretty hard ...

this engine, the ktm/ducati , is 705 cc , and gives 100 nm at 6500 revs/min , it's a torquey one , but likes to revs to 8500 very easily on the track (tanks to the ducati head )

the "old" ones , the ktm engines were 693 cc , less torquey , but enought to give 100 hp at 8500 revs/min on the dyno , on the track it was hard to get 8000 revs/min

Its just my spontaneous reaction and nothing personal , however I may have missed something important as I dont know the scope of the engine, is it naturally aspirated and what fuel is being used?

Id love to know the specs like bore, stroke static compression, and a dyno chart will be very helpful to understand what the engine does.

Cheers, Tom

Thought you already had the numbers in? You were estimating??

Alright, prepare for how you acheived 141nm per litre if NA and Pump gas.
13;1 (cc:ed)and 599cc renders 68nm with good scavenging from 8k, per cylinder, and 183hp on the twin. Pump gas NA.
106x67.9 and 1198 head, 113nm per litre that renders, top number.
Tested already, not guessing.
You have a go
