After some yard work and homework I was able to do a lil more Berg work.

Skid plate mock up.

Magura master with decomp lever. Since Hydro clutch not made for my Berg I will have to measure and decide on which slave cylinder and line.

Some engine cleaning test. I am very happy with my test cleaner!

Thanks from bushmechanic

Love this build!

What is the magic stuff you're using to cleaning the engine?

Maybe something like this slave cylinder would work if mounted from a tab on the frame?

Thanks Aaron, but Magura makes many different slave cylinders and line lengths. They also make a couple adjustable ones.

Pgs 22-25 in their catalog Catalog | MAGURA

I think I found the one I need and a line. I just need to spend the money to make it happen.

The cleaner is an aluminum brightner. The brand I use is Mac's. Be sure and read the directions as it is not kind to some finishes.
Thanks from bushmechanic and aaron

I was able to contemplate my 501's swingarm for a little while today. Not sure what to do with it...I am not one to leave well enough alone.

Suggestions anyone?

Cool, thanks! I'm way more familiar with aftermarket car parts than bikes. But that link to Magura will be very handy for my friend building a Honda CB550 cafe racer. We don't have Mac's products in any Australian stores that I've found so far. What are the active constituents in it?

Aaron, it contains sulfuric and phosphoric acid plus a few long named ingredients.

Ya O.T, I was looking at the pictures in the magazine and on Google to see if they would give me an idea of what I could do with the swingarm. Not sure whether to leave it, Scotch Brite it, polish it, paint it, custom graphic down the side, or...

That is a good idea. I have had Jet Hot silver ceramic coat an expansion chamber before. Not sure if I want to stay with the typical silver swing arm. Husaberg blue would look interesting and be different.........I've seen a dirt bike where the swing arm was the same gold color as the fork tubes which was cool and unique too.

After weighing all the options I have decided to paint the swing arm...
