Yes, I would love to resto/mod it for you. I will hopefully have a few pics every day or so as school permits.
I have a bunch of cool ideas for a modern CRF. |

I'm finding the VRM140 quite good value, works similar to the similar looking Dunlop 952 that is good around here, but 2/3 the price for better value. LINK International - Vee Rubber Tyres and Tubes
For fronts, I'm pretty happy with the Mitas C17. But I'm off to the desert soon on the FE650 and will likely use a Mitas C20, a bigger tyre that looks good, but untested as yet by me. These have been cheap for me, and the C17 works and last well on the rocks around here. Motocross & Enduro | Motorcycle Tyres |

Thanks for the tire info guys.
I run the big M5B on both the 650 and the CR500. I too run the Pirelli Scorpion. I really like the 80-100-21 XCMH which is also on the 650 and CR500.
But, like you said they are spendy.

Got a almost new Dunlop Geomax MX51FA Front that I took off the 2014 Husa. Maybe has 5 hours on it of light riding while breaking the bike in. Its yours if you want, just the shipping charge to you. Just thinking as you noted about budget cost.

I recommend Mitas 754 Sport Extrem in the back and Mitas C 19 Superlight in the front. Cost of a set is around 100€.

ave to re-look at the Mitas tires.

This mechanical engineering school math is hurting my brain!
I was lucky to get out for a ride today on one of my none Berg rides and had a great time. Missed ya Oregon Trail!
My garage was a cluster F and it needed a serious over haul so I could have the room to really work on and store the finished pieces as I go along. I was able to get the last 25% finished after the ride and yard work...yes it is early spring here in southern Oregon.
Snapped a shot of the finished top fork clamp and 1-1/8" handle bar mounts. The paint is Stone Guard black it is textured and has a chip resistant finish.
