I took it for a short test ride on the roads. That felt ok. Then I was at the dyno last Tuesday. After a couple of accelerations, there was a sudden increase of vibrations, so we stopped further testing. Then the wife's car broke down, so I've been replacing the turbo charger the last couple of nights. I hope to inspect the DRC680 this weekend. It was still alive, all liquids in place and no parts outside the cases, so that's positive! See still smiling faces after the dyno run!

What caused the increase in vibrations?

The gear on the crankshaft turned on the cone (broke the wedge). Disaster was close! I grinded the conical fit, heated the gear before mounting and used bushing glue. Now it is not moving.

Step 1: Test start - Check!

Step 2: Dyno1 - Revealed too small piston to cylinder head clearance. These cases were 0,4-0,5mm lower. Now fixed. Back to dyno!
Dyno2 - vibrations due to the CB driving gear turned. Now fixed! Back to dyno!
Dyno3 - all good!

Step 3: Trackday - Check! Good and smooth power delivery and very small vibrations!

Step 4: Racing
