That sucks mate. This would have to test even your endless reserve of patience and perseverance, myself, I'd have burnt everything to the ground and then gone on a binge-drink-palooza.

My rear wheel bearings. Axle and Hub are unserviceable as well.

I forgot to put oil in one of my 2T boxes once... got distracted by my wife .. she asked me some irrelevant question which should not have taken up much of my concentration but she has enormous breasts .

the solution for the oil pump gear i think is rather simple .. do some complicated modifications to the oil pump and or make a billet gear that is nearly contacting the clutch hub

then when assembling you will have to be super careful to check clearance between clutch and oil pump gear.

That's tough love..... I don't even want to imagine how it must feel...


Suggestions:

Install an oil pressure gauge or warning lamp to avoid future mishaps?

Avoid Norway as the roads there are way to slow and tiring and you drive under constant fear of getting fined way too much?

You're right, Spanner! Thanks for putting my petty whining into perspective!
About that distraction, Bushie... Large breasted women entering the workshop is to be considered a downright sabotage!

The piston and sleeve is getting honed together til Friday. Both Carillio conrods will get new steel big end bushings. i will deliver them to get hardened tomorrow. I have machined new valve guides and they are off to my cylinder head wiz tomorrow to get the head refurbished with new intake valves. So the preps are ongoing! I'll be damned if I'm going to let dead materials win over me!
