When I heard unusual noise after I saw this:

and I found this

http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/o...2/IMG_7442.jpg

then all you need unusual is that special tool for removing THAT bearing

http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/o...psaeda9620.jpg

584.29.037.037 MOUNTING TOOL INNER RING NJ206

Nothing bad if fixed in time. And in my case the reason probably was not correct bearings - same size but different.
Good luck and Happy New Year!

sounds about right I'm afraid. mains.

oil changes have to be every 6-8 hours especially if you start it and don't ride.

you'll need mains, gasket set, a camchain probably?, little end can be dodgy, i'm going to guess and say that the liner will look rough so that is a re-nikasil and new 'A' piston. waterpump seal, grope around the gearbox bearings (the three balls), a new filter, check the tappet pads for cupping,

upgrades
ADC spring
DVSK
starter repair kit

should be about all you need?

reguarding the bearing in the pic.....

i would cut a deep groove in it with a cutoff wheel then hit it with a chisel and crack it, it will come right off.......just dont touch the gear and dont cut all the way through into the crank, obviously you cant cut straight across......another possiblity would be to cut notches for a puller to grip it and apply heat as needed during removal.

screw the tool....

disclaimer: The unsteady or unpatient hand should not attempt :D

a couple of ways I've dealt with them

1) grind the bitch down to a millimitre on one side then it loses all its strength.
lots of careful washing needed afterwards.

2) heat it up with a couple of men on gas torches, then with a flat-bladed screwdriver start whacking them in from each side.
very few people know what size screwdriver does the job or which size hammer is safe or what is holding it up where and why......

option 1 with a 4" grinderrette is my best choice for the novice.
