600 rod kits!

is there any interest in new 600 rod kits being made?

pin, bearing and rod, no little end required. cost will be 300gbp or 320 euros or $480.

I'm only getting a dozen so I guess: "speak now or forever hold your peace"!

I'll go ahead if I can get 6 orders.

the FC501 rod was 4mm shorter. there are means and ways of using it for the 501 like a shorter piston, a thick base gasket etc.

regards

Re: 600 rod kits!

currently recovering from truck parts bills...hydraulic power unit failure and snow plow i broke last year
if i shuck a rod/bearing on my way to work tomorow though, would still be interested....just don't tell the old lady i said that...
i would say this for sure, if you get 12, and have six pre sold, that would leave 6 on your shelf, if they ended up sitting around for a while,i would be interested in one of those.....200hrs is coming up fast, assuming all 600 rods are the same and that something doesn't grenade by then

Re: 600 rod kits!

so your sales pitch to me is that: "when you are desperate and have 6 left on the shelf, I'll come along and beat you down on price to nothing and steal it off ya!".

annie, go get the gun...

as usual the information is wrong. alpha won't do you a one off bearing or pin and prox make everything but Husaberg stuff. WaFi

How about that bearing, do you sell it solo ?

I know I can change the rolls because the vage is good, but if you have the bearing for a nice price, let me

Re: 600 rod kits!

I got my big end bearings off ALpha as one offs because Taffy as usual was just too slow to find any,

he owed me money at the time because he had sent me the wrong camchain that I had to forward at my cost to a lad in Brisbane and I had just bought 3 unusable head gaskets off him so I gave him the opportunity to organize the bearings through Alpha for me but he couldn't manage it

as I wrote its worth a try if hes tried Alpha allready and failed as usual its still worth a try ..... nothing wrong with that information

all anyone needs is the dimensions of the bearings, about a year ago as was usual at the time I emailed Taffy the catalog files of several bearing manufactures who make big end bearings, the challenge is finding a bearing supply company who can be bothered to get them for you.

Re: 600 rod kits!

all lies as usual, if a cam chain is supplied wrongly then for a moment money is owed so stretching the actuality as usual. you don't owe money as such.

you got a 'bearing' not 'bearings & pin' which is what we are on about so more balls.

as for the JBS racing (BEN BALLARD - he of the 700 kits) head gaskets, nobody knew they were wrong for weeks afterwards if not months. I was fitting and selling OEM mixed in. And it was myself who found out and I said I didn't know who I had sold them too. you never said you had any then and I believe this is the first time you've mentioned it some 24/36 Months later so I can't even recall what and when to clarify anymore. you were certainly offered a refund at the time if it was mentioned.

fact is you're always going on about how good JBS racing are but you have always known their HGs to be shyte but because you suck so well you don't want to tell anyone whether you are a swallower or a spitter!

if you were an even handed man - which you most obviously aren't - you would say just how crap his stuff is. at least I man'd up and demanded my money back at the cost of not dealing with him again....according to him there was 'no warranty'. and that's what all his customers get = no warranty.

Dave Clarke sent his back with an inscription on the packet. he didn't tell me he knew they were wrong, i guess that's business but then JBS racing then sent the HGs, still in the same packet with DCRs writing on the front: straight out to me!

Now I see you've had shed loads of trouble with your HGs and you know what?

you get what you deserve - all of it.

as far as I'm concerned, my conscience is clear, it's just that I really never did meet a bad aussie till I met you. shame how one sick apple ruins the barrel and lest anyone forgets:

THIS ALL STARTED COZ HE THREW A TANTRUM IN THE "HANDLING FOR ENDUROS" THREAD. got his facts wrong, went into a tizzy and hasn't stopped his rancid attacks ever since.

how the site lets you get away with these non-stop jibes I don't know.

when you and I WERE "talking" you let a lot of stuff go, you are now twisting things but I won't let you get away with it. maybe soon the site administrators will finally wake up and realise that all that glitters in your mind ISN'T as you say (GOLD?) but infact just a series of cheap jibes that are lies, unwarranted attacks and you yourself are descredited yourself enough to be told to shove it!

without doubt the site is now being damaged by this, I was asked to let you continue doing these non-stop cheap attacks but you are targetting anything I do or say here. Ken hasn't offered an endgame I presume hoping you'd grow up but this has to stop.

so everytime you tell a lie I will tell everyone the truth about you until everyone is so sick and tired of all this that everyone else demands an end. then the question will only be: why didn't the administrators stop this at the beginning before this all got silly. poor judgement again....
