Re: Dirt Tricks Cam chain tensioner instructions?

I have the Dirt Tricks unit and am happy with it. I installed it with the bike lying down as advised, and after some use, I pulled it out (with bike lying down) to ensure the unit wasnt fully extended - was all good. I did notice I shaved a piece off the rubber washer that goes on the unit, when I tightened it down - top of the CCT leaked a little oil, so I orderred another rubber washer and a spare for later if I check its extension again.

I was also worried about it being too tight because i thought it may have extended a bit when i put it in. All was good so i laided the bike way over this time to be sure. Simple install. Great fix. Noticeably quieter.

I have the DJH manual chain tensioner. The adjustment instructions are here:
http://www.djhcyclesport.com/XC4

I have found that it's as easy to adjust it by ear but do not confuse cam chain rattle with the valve train tick.

I have a DJH myself and was wondering. When you readjust it, do you back the screw out and then screw it ba

What conditions are these?
And what means: "Setting your motor to TDC"?

TDC means Top Dead Center...you will have some marks to line that up
