My money's on a collapsed CFB.
Good idea to run it and keep revvin' it like that too.

Is it the noise of a specially modified 'berg for a demanding female owner? With vibes like that it could make a fur'berger very happy!

bit hard to tell not knowing where abouts on the engine the sound is coming from, but CFB seems likely, as mine sounded simular where I hadn't punch the pins enough to stop then drifting out.
or theres a loose nut and boucing around on the head
