Something broke inside engine

This day wasn't my best husaberg day.

The bike has about 190 hours on it and I have always changed oil and checked valves every 15 hours. I replaced the camchain and tensioner 10 hours ago. The previous owner did some major service 90 hours ago...

Ok, enough with the background. I'm not sure but I think it has started to tick more and more lately. And today it behaved very strange. Sometimes at low revs it did shut the ignition off, but turned it back on with a snap on the the "throttle".

In the middle of an uphill it suddenly started to sound CHAKA CHAKA CHAKA CHAKA!!! I immediately killed the engine and pushed it 5 km home.

What do you experts think? Where to start looking? Rocker arms? Camchaft? Crank?
I'm completely lost and sad...

Sounds indicative of a broken valve spring.

I will start the investigation tomorrow I think.
I thought of the valve spring too, but last time one broke I didn't have that realy scary noise.

Do you think it's time to replace all the bearing aswell? That's part of the 200 hr servive isn't it?

Pull the rocker cover off for a top-end inspection, it's an easy job and most probably there's the problem

snor,
