That would be great as I have a ktm dealer less than 10 miles from me.

no that's not what kadlec meant i don't think. if it's like the UK. ktm will bring them over and then the dealers will do the rest. it means the end for barrett marketing i would think but the dealers will continue as regular dealers.

Hey Dan, Does that mean you have to take on KTM or give up Husaberg?

Does that mean Barrett's will distribute Gasgas only?

What the hell is going on around here?

In my opinion that will be good for Husaberg here in the states. the enthusiasm from Barrett has not been there in a while. It will be interesting to see how KTM N.A. handles the change, we they use their current reps? or will they try to start over with new ones? I hope KTM will put some money in the racing scene, the last time I heard anything about Dylan he was still riding an 06 model and I couldn't even get a team shirt out of them to wear to our banquet! If I remember correctly Jon Erik Burleson used to ride Husabergs, now he is the president of KTM North America, he might still have some blue and yellow in his veins!

Makes sense. Lots of KTM parts and service similarities on them thar Husabergs.

Stay tuned for the nitty gritty details.

I think KTM has accepted BMW's offer to duel, and are going ot make sure to increase is USA market share. I expect separate Husaberg / KTM dealers (like Honda / Acura).
