the berg in a box should be all together sometime next week, haven't got the battery charged yet (been sitting awhile) but i noticed the lense on the head light is really yellowed. any preference for a replacement light? would like to hear from guys who have aftermarket lights. I assume my stator will handle a 70 watt system, plus I have a rear brake light switch. No turn signals. would I be bettter off getting a dual 35 watt system or a one bulb 70 watt headlight? 99 fe400e model. how good are the 35 watt pencil bulbs? I ride in southern ohio, foothills of the app. mopuntains, somewhat tight trails. I've looked at acerbis, but would like to hear from someone that has used them.

check out my walmart special lamp i adapted to fit the stock berg plate. it is a lamp that comes in a set of 2 truck driving lites with a halogen bulb for $20. puts out a good amount of lite (better than my stocker). you pull the lamp out of their housing and either trim the front rockshield to fit or just leave it out, make 4 mounting points for springs, and voila, you are lit. and you even have a spare!

Clickie the thumbs for a fullsize.
