As your coming to a rolling stop is 1 way of dealing with getting into neutral. When the clutch is perfect (new) neutral is easy

you need to change the steels. the steels warp and the throw of the slave isn't far enough to seperate all the plates so they drag on each other! they don't get far enough apart when they are warped.

the 'throw' is only 2mm and if each stell flexes from flat when crushed and 1mm and then warps to 1.2mm you then multiply that by 8 and the warped plates take up another 1.6mm. you haven't even got the plates apart yet!

we are only limited by people's ability to understand 2 + 2.

If plates are bad it's possible the friction discs are bad. Taffy by the way 2 + 2 = 4 not .
