Need help on FE650e...

Hi all,

Im Panagiotis from sunshine Greece

i would like to ask your opinion about a enduro motorcycle to buy..

the usage of it will be in traffic..(for some rides..)off road (to have some fun) and for road trips...

i was thinking of husaberg FE650e (i realy like this bike) and i was ready to buy it... but some friends of mine told me that its a realy sensitive byke..

that needs service every 20 fills of gasoline...or use time and that it has many malfunctions...

is that true?(hope not i realy want to have one...)

i can affort the money for it but i wont be able to keep service every since..

cause if i want to do a trip to UK from Greece that im planning..(with an enduro )i will have problems on the way, of not on the way i will when im back..

dont know...

i realy need your opinion on that

thanks for reading my prob

ill be glad to read you posts...

I would not recommend the Husaberg for a commuter bike. The bike will suffer in slow traffic. The bikes are also somewhat maintenance intensive.
Remember, the Husaberg is intended for off road racing and should be purchased with that in mind.

A CRF is not much better. I think what you need is an XR400 or XR650.A KTM with an LC4 motor may be a consideration.
You will want to stay away from the racing 4 stroke motors.

Did I really just type that????? I think I need some coffee .

A Suzuki DRZ400s is the only dual sport I know
of that can do all that you are asking of it.If
you can afford it,buy a cheap street bike and
a dirt bike. You will be much happier when riding.

Personally.... I change the oil after every tank (50-60 miles). I change the oil filter every 3rd time. I service the air filter every other ride. Adjust the valves every 20 hours or as needed. Lube the chain every ride.

i was an owner of a Gilera RK 50(enduro) and i was borred of two strokes (it has power for what it was..50cc-12hp)...and it was a good thing to start and learn...

Look i know you gonna say that i have to learn with another bike to drive etc...

But now i got the chance to have a good bike...and i want to have smth with power and reliability.

Thats the reason that im asking for . . .

(may i ask smth alse..if i say if i dont change oil on every ride...or not one every month..but every 3 months ... is it gonna be a problem?)
just dont laugh im a newbie on that and thats why im asking for help...
(and i dont know what a 650cc bike gonna have to take care of...)
