2005 Husaberg 650fe VIN?

So, my buddy canít find the bill of sale from when he bought this bike (super disappointed about it). Weíre just going to make a new on which is simple but we canít find the VIN. Itís not on the typical forks or frame. Thereís an info plate which doesnít have it & a stamp on the frame as you can see in the pix. Which one is it or am I looking at the wrong place? Where would it be if not here? Thanks in advance.

You can just see the bottom of the vin on my old 2005 in the lower left of the photo.

Interesting that my bikes decal designates it as 644cc vs 625 in your photo. My dealer told me it was a leftover model built late in the year that was designated for Europe. He got like 6 of these 650’s and 550’s that had all the street legal stuff on them. It also came with the ‘06 head pipe and kickstarted.

Yeah, that is strange. You think itís because of the 06 heads on yours? That shouldnít have anything to do with displacement though. Iím sad mine is less lol. There is so much to learn about these bikes.

Is the VIN just a sticker? Looks like mine is missing. Luckily I tracked down the original owner & he has the registration & insurance with VIN on it.

Vertically on the head tube in between the bearings, on a raised rectangular boss. We need more pictures of the this area...

As the others said, it’s stamped-usually with a strip of protective plastic over it, on the steering head. That’s the way all of my KTM products have been at least.

I’m pretty certain mine was 628cc, like all the ‘05 and up bikes. They’re plenty powerful!
