I Ride: 2010 FX450 2011 KTM 250XC
Update the spark plug was not the fix it started doing the same thing since the spark plug seemed to fix it I checked the coil wire. What I noticed was the sheeting covering the wire had a split and looked like it was being pinched by the fan kit and the frame . The sheathing is an additional piece not part of the spark plug wire. I slipped some heat shrink tube over it and rerouted the coil wire up higher then down to the plug. It seems to be working

Update I swapped the spark plug cap with a used one checked it get sporadic ohm Reading but not an open circuit the flameout problem returned and was progressively worse as the bike heated up . The new plug cap came in it it reads 4.8k ohms so far the bike runs great . After probing the spark plug cap I realized the part that the coil wire threads onto was slightly loose and would sometimes read correctly . Itís a cheap part to change
