Fs650 e with Akrapovic -which jetting is the best?Taffmeisters-Kit?

Hello from Germany .

I have a 2007 fs650e with a complete akrapovic exhaust.

But i need a good Setting for this.
Can u tell me your experiance?

I have a taffmeister jetting kit for my Berg.

Maybe u can post your jetting here and help me with this


My taffmeister jetting is.

Mj 170
Pj 40
Needle on c8
Paj 75
Maj 100

Is this a good Set?

the people here don't know the shape of the needle so the only really relevant one is the MJ. you can get them down to a 162 this time of year.

also, your MAJ is a 155 and not a 100.

yes if something is rich then you make it leaner than that. you get it as close to 'correct' that you can.

I said 162MJ above but the Akro might not come below 165-168.

Put a 50 pilot jet and Use a obekr 2nd clip from top 160 or 165 main this all seems to work on mine really good. I did try a obdvt and it ran like crap. Hope this helps. Mine had a full ti akra too.

Now i drive with my Berg.

I Think i have Not much torque in low rpm.

Its Start with Choke. With choke and without choke i have many failed ignitions in idle running.



if I give gas and then close, the exhaust shoots all the time

The dosage is fine. But I think it lacks performance.

in the third gear, she does not manage a gas wheelie.


Afs = 0.5-2.5 no change

40PJ is too small for the 650 if with 75PAJ. go to a 42PJ or a 42PJ and a 60-65PAJ.

this is why you have fir in the exhaust.

has this kit been bought recently or did it get fitted years ago or held a long time before it was (finally) fitted?

Ok. I will try a bigger pj. I bought it last Year at november.

A question:
why did I have to set the throttle to 3mm (in your instructions).

I had to open it much further so that the machine starts. should I adjust the 3mm again when I installed the 42 Pj? I can try pj 42 and 45

I Ride: Husa FS650e 08 & Kawa Z1000 04 Supercharged
628 stock engine@full titanium Acrapovic exhaust system with silencer in place,2007 model,oem air filter.
Sea level,24 degrees Celcius.

Final settings:
pilot fuel jet=48
main fuel jet=165
needle=OBEKR
needle position=4th from top
pilot air jet=100
main air jet=200

Starts and runs and accelerates fine.
