Question FMF Muffler vs. Stock

I purchased a 2011 FE570 that has an FMF muffler. I have noticed quite a bit of popping and back fire while in deceleration. I installed the stock muffler to compare the two and the popping and back firing almost entirely stopped. Based on this observation, I believe the FMF has much less back pressure, and due to this, has an impact on the air fuel ratio. Since this bike has EFI, and there is no exhaust gas monitoring (no O2 Sensor) how do you adjust the air fuel ratio (if that is what's going on) ?
Thank you,

I installed a JD EFI Tuner on my '11 390. It allows the user to add or remove fuel throughout the throttle range.
Thanks from Alan

You need a fuel tuner. Power commander or what have you to change the map. Then you will need some advise from a wise 570 user on this forum or a dyno and someone who knows how to tune.

JD/EJK piggy back tuner.

Open up your airbox by either or both the radiator shrouds or take 1/2”/13mm down the seat where it meets the rad shrouds. Easy/quick mod that looks standard by just pulling back the seat cover, removing some material then restaple.

Get it setup on a dyno. Provide them with the printout info on the tuner. Not expensive but well worth it.
