I Ride:
Hopeful... looking for a ready to run 05 fe 650e complete motor

Guy I just bought my bike from screwed me looking for a drop in ready motor for an 05 fe 650 e

F....... Try looking at the bright side karma might get him. This will never happen. Now you have a chance to learn now to rebuild that motor and know how it works. I bought a bike thinking was going to an easy fix and the ass wipe new it wasn't. Your not the only trusting person not their. Now I'm learning also.

Oh my problem is the cost of rebuild I don't think the bottom end is even good and I'd have to bore it and I don't really wanna mess with all that. I can do the work just keeps me off my bike all summer

Are there any other models that the motor will come out of and bolt in? I've heard alot of the parts are ktm is that true for the motor?

I Ride: 01 Husaberg fe650
01-08, any motor will bolt in. 04-08 would probably be better for you as your wiring/ignition would be the same.

just rebuild yours. best thing to so is to strip it, take all the photos you can and put them here. we'll help you choose what needs renewing.

then with the help of a competent mechanic get it all rebuilt in one big effort.

I finally got to tear into it the timing chain came undone and bunched up in the gears once I got it out the motor was completely free. Bought all the parts I need today now just looking for a diagram on how the timing chain is ran and the clearances
