Suspension settings for a heavier rider. FE570

I am 6-2, over age 50 and weigh 230lbs wearing my riding gear. Add a tank bag and back back with water hydration and the weight goes higher. I don't really want to keep adding more and more money into a new bike that I already spent alot of money on. With that said, when I purcahsed the bike the sag was right on at 110mm, and the fork and spring compression settings (number of clicks) were set right between standard and sport. The suspension seems soft to me. Will moving the settings more to sport (firmer) help or is it just a bandaid approach? Is it worth it to spend the money to redo the bikes suspension?

I know what you mean about spending more, but the way I look at is you've spent 9/10's what you need to too get your bike ideal for you.

try 50 springs on the front and on the rear you'll need an 88. springs on their own make a big and welcome improvement. the front springs will hit the spring guides so allocate time and find a body work file to turn the 4 shoulders in each spring guide down and then they fit easily enough. preload to minimum front.

Thanks for the feedback, I think when I take the bike in for it's next service I will redo the springs as mentioned.
