PABiker, your bike may be running lean. Try an EJK or JD tuner.

Probably, but it's not often enough to worry about. It's only when I'm out west at high altitude crawling around the woods where it happens, back home on the east coast I use the 300 for all woods riding.

Would you happen to have the part number for the "brown cap" pump?

I would assume that KTM has revised the design of this pump to handle heat issues, since you are no longer having a problem.

Thank you.

I'll take a look and see if I can dig it up. If not I'll be pulling the pump soon to inspect/replace filters and switch to the clear tank I scored from KTM NOS:

Oh... off an FS? I thought it was a higher capacity tank. FE's are black.

Speaking of tanks, I know this is a long shot, but I need a 70 degree sub frame tank, if anyone out there is willing to part ways.

Looking for a little help for this first time Husaberg owner.

Thank you.

Also by the way my tank was weird in that the Powerparts billet cap would not fit. I had to file the crap out to make is sorta work.

The clear tank is from a 2012, sourced from Europe by a dealer in the US. I bought one of those tanks as well. I am installing it this winter. Great way to quickly see how much fuel you have left.

Were you able to get any better deal than the list price? They're a little steep.
