No start with new Fuel Pump FX450

Looking for some possible help here, I'm the original owner of a FX450, which developed a hard to no start problem. Now it's no start after sitting for a year.

Drained gas, nope

Valves, nope.

Spark Plug, nope.

Battery, nope.

Replaced the fuel pump (3nd one) nope.

It's giving me the fuel pump relay code. The odd thing is I tore down the gas tank again and took the guts out. It appears the pump turns on when it cranks for the first few seconds then turns off. Is this normal? It also turns on 80% of the time, every few random cranks it does not turn on.

I'm leaning toward ECU as when I swapped out the 2nd fuel pump it appeared the positive had grounded out or got hot based on the scared wiring.

What am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thinking it's 09-12 look at TPS (throttle position sensor) look somewhere in Forum for setting.

No start

Plug wire can go bad especially where it screws onto plug cap. Especially in moist climates. My berg only threw a code when it ran. Check connector and wire to fuel pump. Pump starts , pressurizes the shuts off automatically, that is normal. No pinched fuel line?

Well I tried to check the TPS and for some reason it would only read 0.00, but when I poured some gas down the throttle body it will run a little stumble on the bottom but will rev.

I thought if the TPS was bad it would not start am I wrong on this?

Bad TPS?

Maybe clogged fuel filter?

Thanks for all the help!

I did the same thing to check if it was the pump. It was any I think I had the throttle open pouring gas in and it also ran a little. I hope someone out there knows the answer to your question?

friend of mine had a similar problem with his fe450 turned out to be the map/kill switch shorting out causing intermittent starting he replaced the wiring loom the fuel pump as well as checking all the things you mentioned before finding this fault worth looking at this switch I guess.
