I Ride: 02 650 StreetTracker, 08 FE450, 92 Triumph Cafe Racer.
Should just screw in I would have thought, never needed to take one out.

I Ride: 2005 Fe450,2001 Fx470,1997 Fx600
When tearing down the carb note that any phillips screws are not regular phillips they are JIS, Japanese Industrial Standard. You will cam out if you use a regular phillips and ruin the screw. Amazon has JIS screwdriver sets.

A pair of Vampliers will help remove any damaged screws.

In general: Don't take it ALL the way apart (I.e. don't split the main body.)

(If you find that you actually need to do so however, there do exist gaskets for full rebuilds of these and it is possible to fit them together again.)
