dell orto choke cable (yes cable!)

hello

not very often we develop something new on the older girls now is it!

i have been converting the manual decomp to operate the choke knob on a few bikes recently and beside the fact that it's a little shorter than desired it has been fine!

one thing to note though was that when using the starter motor; there is a sweet spot just as you open the choke.

as each husaberg has a personality of it's own, it's own quirks and strange ways i thought i'd let 2 or 3 go before i commented.

fact is, just as the choke opens is a sweet spot that gets the bike fired up straight away. doesn't matter whether it's a #40 or a #45 choke jet. tried them both. fact is, the choke needs to be just starting to open and woosh - they start!

so all this time the flip choke has been doing us a disservice....

i might get some proper cables made up for this mod but i'm not allowed to hold onto the bikes. when they are a 'goer' they've gotta go!

that is all

regards

Taffy

either way, i'll look into it fella! could turn out to beas cheap as chips if i can cross reference it. if not they'll call it a posh name like "bespoke"!
