3. What did you wish it had?
4. How long you had her?
5. What kind of "range:" are you getting with the tank?
and...anything else you would like to brag about your new scooot!
I'm dissapointed with my TE 300 for one reason only, the suspension. I know it has great reviews but for where/how I ride its much to firm. I re-sprung for my weight and tried 72 / 76 / Prog rear but was never happy.
I actually took the forks off my 2010 KTM 300 and put them on the Berg, they are much nicer all around.
The CC forks may be great at expert/pro level high speed but for me an 40+ intermediate I was pissed to find my KTM forks felt way better in the rough stuff.
Dale EO has just done me a re-valve / re-spring so I'm sure I'll be happy again soon!.
I have 25 hours on my 2012 model.
Although I don't like the suspension, the steering / turn-in is excellent, it feels shorter than the KTM.
Approx 110km (70 miles) before hitting reserve.
The plastic bashplate is not protective enough, the PV / WP are left too exposed.
Low-end power is excellent, far better than the KTM
The clear tank is easily discolored, I put 3M clear plastic on mine for protection from the knees.
Those rims are lovely so I bought some rim stickers, again for protection ..........and bling.
I found it difficult to find space on the bars to fit my chosen bark busters, identical to the KTM in that respect.
I replaced the "button" for the e-start with a on / off switch and moved it to the left side of the bars to free up some space for the barkies.
As per the KTM, the standard battery is shite, now using a 9aH (standard 3aH) battery.
