07 have been good year for Husaberg accessories. add another accessory to the list
here is a pic of the exhaust heat shield that E line now making so pants with burn holes
in them should be something of the past
also I am trying to convince E line to make a carbon fiber skid plate for the berg so

re: Exhaust heat shield

Nice looking heat shield. Should be good for saving folks from some pant leg burns.

The previous discussions and photos of the exhaust header insulator wraps and the ceramic coated header pipes have me interesting in checking out those options.

Probably easier to try the wraps before sending out the pipes for the ceramic coating process.

heat shield

That looks pretty trick.
Does anyone know if it will fit an 05?
My headers are wrapped and in need of redoing.
This looks much easier.

in germany an berg fan developed among other things this carbon-kevlar skid plate. i run this plate in the 4mm pe-nylon version only. for hardest conditions, the outer pe-nylon skin protects the fibres.

These carbon fibre bits look good but they are a bit too bling and expensive for me. I've seen some exhaust heat shields on ebay in the UK for about £10 but they just cover the rear part of the pipe where it goes in to the silencer box or muffler. Does anyone do a cheap aluminium shield for the headers?
