Husaberg fe450 2009 no spark!!

So I was riding normally riding last weekend and cooled the engine before the parkin in the garage (don't remember for sure but the weather wasn't super wet) and let it be there for a week. Then next weekend went driving but it didn't start didn't mind it then because the weather was bit on freeze (-4c?) And put it back in garage (it was in not heated garage). Today got it to my warm garage and let it warm up then tried to start it again but with no success. Now I checked the spark and there is not one, so the bike spins the engine normally but doesn't get spark. I have made some measurements and checked the ohms for coil, stator and pulsecoil, I have also tried with new spark plug. Multimeter alsso shows that the spark plug cap and wire should be okay. I didn't find any information about the CDI so is it integrated with ecu or ignition coil and is the ecu a part of spark wiring or only the fuel. So what the problem could be. I have worked with bikes earlier but I got this Husaberg just couple weeks ago and it's my first four stroke so I'm bit dum with it. Also sorry for my bad English 😅. Thanks for help already.

What was the reading of the spark plug cap ? You mentioned it should be ok . The reason I ask is that I have seen 4 of them fail and the symptoms have not all been the same . It should read 5k ohms. One had no spark and would not start one would run only at higher rpm and have back fire issues when it got hot.

If you give the 70* any throttle it won't start. Maybe your kill switch is bad disconnect it.

I tried to disconnect the kill switch and still didn't start alsso didn't give it any gas to it. The spark plug cap did read about 5k ohms if I remember correct but I will try to start with new one. Also is it possible that the ECU is broken and where is the CDI located or is it integrated with ingnition coil.

You can have a look at the wiring diagram in the service manual. Page 238/239 shows EU spec ecu and ignition coil wiring.

Did you check the ignition coil ? What if you connect disconnect it manually, does it spark?
Does the ignition coil get proper signal ?
Anything with return connections corroded?

Ook Peter what do you mean by disconnectin and connecting manually and no the sparkplug doesn't make spar.k I have tried with another sparkplug from another working bike and cut of the from the ends of the sparkplug wire to get fresh wires but still nothing. And according to the wiring diagram the ecu seems to be a part of the ignition system. Is there a way to measure it to be sure the ecu is working correctly.

You should check the primary engine harness grounds as well as the one at the ignition coil.
