Stator Question

Hi all, I have a '99 FC501 & at the moment it has a dual stack SEM stator in it with two yellow leads coming out the top as well as the 3 others.
Am I correct to assume that the yellow leads are for charging a battery.
Do I have the wrong stator in my bike?
I have been told that the FC should only have a single stack stator.
My stator is on the way out so should I replace it with a single or double stack, if i get a single I am going to need to replace the flywheel as well.

Stator

The yellow wires on your stator are only for charging battery and lights.
All the bergs from 99 till 03 have dual curve ignition FE or FC's.

What is a dual curve ignition?
Has anyone got a picture or a link to a picture of the correct stator cause I have been told 3 different things & I really don't have the money to throw away on mistakes.
