I Ride:
06 FE 650 replacement stator

Been a while since ive been here. How is everyone?

Trying to find a aftermarket stator with a higher output so my battery will atay charged while running a fan.
Trail tech???

I have used the Trail Tech SR-8310 kit in the past and it has proven to be reliable.
You do how ever have to convert the bike from AC to DC I think there are some old threads that cover this change

Yes the lights (head, tail and brake light + Indicators if you have them) are AC, as the kit comes with a new regulator/rectifier its best to move the light circuit over to the DC they actually work better and you will blow less globes.

I have never tried to run the lights AC with the trail tech system.

If you are going to use this kit its not quite plug and play as its for KTM's, from memory there's not much to installing it .

The last one I fitted was about 7 years ago and its still going with no problems

I ordered a high output stator for my 2004 fe450 from my husaberg dealer

He sent me a trail tech SR-8310
